Receding Chin
A receding or ‘weak’ chin is often a genetic condition in which the chin slopes backwards while the upper teeth project forwards, out beyond the lower teeth.
The chin will appear shorter and smaller than a normal chin and will look as if it has retreated backwards, often making the contours of the face look less pleasing. It can also change the natural support structure for the face and affect how the face ages, leading to downturned mouth corners, wrinkles around the mouth and ‘witch’s chin’.
